[843] Guṇa greeted him in return—the Vedeha, who delighted in discipline (vinaya): "All of that is sustainable, great king—both the one and the other. I hope, Vedeha, that for you too the border regions do not rise in strength; I hope your carriage-team is free of disease; I hope your mounts carry you well; I hope you have no ailments that torment your body."
