[115] **If purity comes to a person by what is seen** (*diṭṭhena ce suddhi narassa hoti*): if, by the seeing of forms with eye-consciousness (*cakkhuviññāṇa*), there is for a person purity (*suddhi*), thorough purity, complete purity; freedom, deliverance (*vimutti*), complete freedom — if a person is purified, thoroughly purified, completely purified; is freed, delivered, completely freed — thus: "if purity comes to a person by what is seen."
