[301] **"Having seen this too, one should not dispute" (etampi disvā na vivādayetha):** having seen, beheld, weighed, judged, clarified, and made evident this danger (ādīnava) in quarrels over views (diṭṭhi), contentions over views, strife over views, disputes over views, and altercations over views — thus, "having seen this too." **"One should not dispute":** one should not make a quarrel, should not make contention, should not make strife, should not make a dispute, should not make an altercation; one should abandon, dispel, bring to an end, and reduce to non-existence quarreling, contention, strife, dispute, and altercation. One should be far removed from quarreling, contention, strife, dispute, and altercation — abstaining, refraining, gone forth from them, released from them, freed from them, detached from them — and should dwell with a mind rid of boundaries. Thus, "having seen this too, one should not dispute."
