[356] **Or with what would he dispute, [saying] "It is false"?** — By what conceit (māna), by what view (diṭṭhi), or with what person would the brahmin (brāhmaṇa) make quarrel, make strife, make contention, make dispute, make wrangling, [saying:] "Mine alone is true; yours is false; you do not understand this Dhamma and Discipline … or extricate yourself, if you are able"? Therefore, "or with what would he dispute, [saying] 'It is false'?"
