[372] **"For one liberated by wisdom (paññāvimutta) there are no delusions (moha)"** means: whoever develops the noble path (ariyamagga) preceded by insight (vipassanā) — for him, delusions are suppressed from the very beginning. When arahantship is attained, for the arahant the delusions, the ties (gantha), the hindrances (nīvaraṇa), perceptions of sensuality, perceptions of ill will, perceptions of harming, and perceptions of views are abandoned, cut off at the root, made like a palm stump, brought to non-existence, of a nature not to arise again in the future. Therefore: "For one liberated by wisdom there are no delusions."
