[376] "Tell me that, O Gotama" (tam me Gotama pabrūhī ti): "That" (taṃ) means that which I ask, that which I request, that which I entreat, that which I appeal for in confidence. "Gotama": that created one (nimmita) addresses the Blessed Buddha by his clan name. "Tell" (pabrūhi): speak, tell, teach, declare, set forth, disclose, analyze, make plain, reveal. Hence, "Tell me that, O Gotama."
