[511] Some who are wise (paṇḍitāse) here declare that the purity (suddhi) of the spirit (yakkha) extends just this far; but some among them, professing to be skilled (kusalāvadānā), declare annihilation (samaya) in the state without residue remaining (anupādisesa).
