Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Mahāniddesa · Vol. 29 · Section 574

[574] **"Intoxicated with conceit (māna), conceiving oneself complete"**: because of one's own view (diṭṭhi), one is intoxicated, utterly intoxicated, crazed, exceedingly intoxicated with conceit — thus one is "intoxicated with conceit." **"Conceiving oneself complete"**: one conceives oneself complete, one conceives oneself entire, one conceives oneself in no way deficient — thus one is "intoxicated with conceit, conceiving oneself complete."
