[632] **"Or else just the seen, the heard, or the sensed (athavāpi diṭṭhaṃva sutaṃ mutaṃ vā)"** means: having depended upon and relied upon, having grasped, misapprehended, and adhered to the seen (diṭṭha) or purity through the seen (diṭṭhasuddhi), the heard (suta) or purity through the heard (sutasuddhi), the sensed (muta) or purity through the sensed (mutasuddhi) — hence, "or else just the seen, the heard, or the sensed."
