[646] **"For they say their own dhamma is perfect" (sakaṃ hi dhammaṃ paripuṇṇamāhu)**: some ascetics and brahmins speak thus, talk thus, declare thus, explain thus, express thus regarding their own dhamma — their own view (diṭṭhi), practice (paṭipadā), path (magga): "This is complete, perfect, not deficient." Therefore it is said, "for they say their own dhamma is perfect."
