[647] **But they say the dhamma of another is inferior**: some ascetics and brahmins speak thus, talk thus, declare thus, explain thus, and express thus regarding the dhamma — the view (diṭṭhi), the practice (paṭipadā), the path — of another: "This is inferior, this is base, this is low, this is vile, this is wretched, this is trifling." Therefore it is said, "but they say the dhamma of another is inferior."
