[720] **"For one who is inwardly at peace" (ajjhattaṃ upasantassa)** means: for one who has stilled lust (rāga) inwardly, who has stilled hatred (dosa) … who has stilled, calmed, quelled, extinguished, and tranquilized all unwholesome volitional formations (sabbākusalābhisaṅkhāra) — therefore it is said, "for one who is inwardly at peace."
