[781] **Having known extinguishment (nibbuti) as "peace" (santīti nibbutiṃ ñatvā):** having known the extinguishment of lust (rāga) as "peace"; having known the extinguishment of hatred, of delusion … of all unwholesome volitional formations (akusalābhisaṅkhāra) as "peace" — having known it, understood it, weighed it, judged it, clarified it, and made it evident — therefore it is said, "having known extinguishment as 'peace.'"
