[786] **Therefore indeed … in the teaching of that Blessed One**: "Therefore (tasmā)" means: therefore, for that reason, from that cause, owing to that condition, with that as its source. "In the teaching of that Blessed One" means: in the teaching (sāsana) of that Blessed One — in the teaching of Gotama, in the teaching of the Buddha, in the teaching of the Jina (the Conqueror), in the teaching of the Tathāgata, in the teaching of the Deva, in the teaching of the Arahant. Hence, "Therefore indeed … in the teaching of that Blessed One."
