[907] **"Crying out (gīvanto), there are fearful things there"** — *crying out*: crying out, growling, roaring, making a sound. Alternatively, [the reading is] *kīvanto* (how many): how many, of what number, of what measure, how numerous. *Those fearful things*: lions, tigers, leopards, bears and hyenas, wolves, cattle and buffaloes, elephants, snakes, scorpions, centipedes; or there might be thieves — men who have done the deed or who have not [yet] done the deed. Hence: "crying out, there are fearful things there."
