[97] **Grasped after judging among dhammas** (dhammesu niccheyya samuggahītaṃ): **Among dhammas** means: among the sixty-two speculative views (diṭṭhigata). **Having judged** (niccheyya) means: having decided, having adjudicated, having investigated, having closely investigated, having weighed, having appraised, having elucidated, having made evident, [2] there is grasping by way of a limit (odhiggāha), grasping at a part (vilaggāha), grasping at the best (varaggāha), grasping at a portion (koṭṭhāsaggāha), grasping at an accumulation (uccayaggāha), grasping at a combination (samuccayaggāha); [that view] is grasped, clung to, adhered to, held fast to, resolved upon thus: "This is true, correct, real, actual, exact, not erroneous." Hence, "grasped after judging among dhammas."
