[152] When it is garlic (lasuṇa), and she eats it perceiving it as garlic, there is an offense (āpatti) of pācittiya. When it is garlic, and she eats it in doubt, there is an offense of pācittiya. When it is garlic, and she eats it perceiving it as not garlic, there is an offense of pācittiya. When it is not garlic, and she eats it perceiving it as garlic, there is an offense of dukkaṭa. When it is not garlic, and she eats it in doubt, there is an offense of dukkaṭa. When it is not garlic, and she eats it perceiving it as not garlic, there is no offense.
