[153] There is no offense: in the case of the onion (palaṇḍuka); in the case of bhañjanaka; in the case of harītaka; in the case of cāpalasuṇa (bulb-less garlic); when it is cooked into a soup (sūpasampāka); when it is cooked with meat (maṃsasampāka); when it is cooked in oil (telasampāka); in a salad-condiment (sāḷava); in a relish (uttaribhaṅga); for one who is insane; and for the first offender (ādikammikā).
