[169] **"Whatever" (yā pana):** whoever, of whatever sort … **"Bhikkhunī":** … this is the bhikkhunī intended in this meaning. **"Of a bhikkhu" (bhikkhussa):** of one fully ordained (upasampanna). **"While he is eating" (bhuñjantassa):** while he is eating any one of the five kinds of food. **"Drinking water" (pānīya)** means: any kind of drinking water. **"A fan" (vidhūpana)** means: any kind of fan (vījanī). **"Should stand in attendance" (upatiṭṭheyya):** she stands within arm's reach (hatthapāsa) — there is an offense of expiation (pācittiya).
