[309] When she is fully ordained (upasampannā) and one perceives her as fully ordained, if one neither settles the legal issue (adhikaraṇa) nor makes an effort to have it settled, there is an offense entailing expiation (pācittiya).
When she is fully ordained and one is in doubt, if one neither settles the legal issue nor makes an effort to have it settled, there is an offense entailing expiation.
When she is fully ordained and one perceives her as not fully ordained (anupasampannā), if one neither settles the legal issue nor makes an effort to have it settled, there is an offense entailing expiation.
When she is not fully ordained, if one neither settles the legal issue nor makes an effort to have it settled, there is an offense of wrongdoing (dukkaṭa).
When she is not fully ordained and one perceives her as fully ordained, there is an offense of wrongdoing.
When she is not fully ordained and one is in doubt, there is an offense of wrongdoing.
When she is not fully ordained and one perceives her as not fully ordained, there is an offense of wrongdoing.
