[32] **"Whatever" (yā pana):** whoever, of whatever sort … **"Bhikkhunī":** … this is the **bhikkhu**nī intended in this sense.
**"One who speaks out of spite" (usuyyavādikā):** one who takes up a legal case (aṭṭakārikā) is what is meant.
**"Householder" (gahapati):** anyone who dwells in a house.
**"Householder's son" (gahapatiputta):** whichever sons and brothers.
**"Slave" (dāsa):** one born within the household, one bought with money, one brought in as a captive.
**"Laborer" (kammakara):** a hired worker, one conscripted into service.
**"Ascetic or wanderer" (samaṇaparibbājaka):** anyone who has attained to the state of a wanderer (paribbājaka), setting aside a bhikkhu, a bhikkhunī, a sikkhamānā, a sāmaṇera, and a sāmaṇerī.
If, thinking, "I will take up a legal case," she seeks a companion or goes — an offence of wrong-doing (dukkaṭa). She informs the first party — an offence of wrong-doing. She informs the second party — a grave offence (thullaccaya). At the conclusion of the case — an offence entailing a formal meeting of the Saṅgha (saṅghādisesa).
