[129] (Thus the venerable Puṇṇaka:) "Whatever seers (isi) and humans here — khattiyas and brahmins — many here in the world, have performed sacrifice to the deities: did they, O Blessed One, being heedful on the path of sacrifice, cross over birth and aging, dear sir (mārisa)? I ask you, Blessed One; declare that to me."
