[185] "This word of the Great Seer I delight in (etābhinandāmi vaco mahesino)": "This (etaṃ)" means your word, your way of speech, your teaching, your sequence of discourse.
"I delight in (abhinandāmi)" means: I delight in, rejoice in, am glad of, rejoice along with, wish for, accept, ask for, aspire to, long for, and yearn after it.
"Of the Great Seer (mahesino)": the Blessed One sought, searched for, and sought after the great aggregate of virtue (sīlakkhandha) — thus he is the Great Seer (mahesī) … "Where is the Bull among Men (narāsabha)?" — thus he is the Great Seer. Hence: "This word of the Great Seer I delight in."
