[235] **Which, having understood, one wanders mindful (yaṃ viditvā sato caraṃ):** having made it understood, weighed it, judged it, clarified it, and made it evident — 'All conditioned things (saṅkhārā) are impermanent' … 'Whatever is subject to origination, all that is subject to cessation' — having made it understood, weighed it, judged it, clarified it, and made it evident.
**Mindful (sato):** one is mindful for four reasons: developing the establishment of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) consisting in contemplating the body in the body, one is mindful … he is called mindful.
**Wandering (caraṃ):** wandering, roaming about, moving in the postures (iriyāpatha), proceeding, guarding, keeping going, sustaining oneself. Hence: 'which, having understood, one wanders mindful.'
