[240] **"Having known this as a tie in the world" (etaṃ viditvā saṅgoti loke):** having known — that is, having understood, weighed, judged, clarified, and made evident — that "this is a tie (saṅga), this is an adherence (laggana), this is a bond (bandhana), this is an impediment (palibodha)" — thus, "having known this as a tie in the world."
