[247] (Upasīva," said the Blessed One,) "Contemplating nothingness (ākiñcañña), possessed of mindfulness, relying on 'there is nothing,' cross over the flood (ogha). Having abandoned sensual pleasures (kāma), abstaining from talk, watch night and day for the destruction of craving (taṇhā)."
