[260] **Supremely resolved upon liberation through perception (saññāvimokkha):** the seven attainments (samāpatti) accompanied by perception (saññā) are called "liberations through perception." Among those attainments accompanied by perception, the attainment of the sphere of nothingness (ākiñcaññāyatana) is, as a liberation (vimokkha), the foremost, the best, the pre-eminent, the principal, the highest, and the most excellent. He is resolved, through the liberation consisting in resolve, upon that supreme, foremost, best, pre-eminent, principal, highest, and most excellent [attainment]; he is resolved on that, intent upon that, practicing that, given much to that, giving weight to that, sloping toward that, inclining toward that, leaning toward that, having that as his dominant influence (ādhipateyya). Therefore it is said: **supremely resolved upon liberation through perception.**
