Nandamāṇavakapañhānidadesa

[281] "There are sages (munis) in the world," (thus said the venerable Nanda,) "so people say. How is this? Do they declare one endowed with knowledge (ñāṇa) to be a sage, or indeed one endowed with a (mode of) living?"
