[321] *Those here who have abandoned all that is seen, or heard, or sensed, and also rules and observances (sīlabbata)*: **all** means: those who, having abandoned, given up, dispelled, terminated, and brought to non-existence all purities through what is seen (diṭṭhasuddhi); all purities through what is heard (sutasuddhi); all purities through what is seen and heard; all purities through what is sensed (mutasuddhi); all purities through virtue (sīlasuddhi); all purities through observances (vattasuddhi); all purities through rules and observances — having abandoned, given up, dispelled, terminated, and brought them to non-existence. Therefore it is said: *those here who have abandoned all that is seen, or heard, or sensed, and also rules and observances.*
