[327] **"Thus it was; thus it will be" (iccāsi iti bhavissati):** it seems, indeed, that it was thus; it seems, indeed, that it will be thus. Hence, "thus it was; thus it will be." --- ¹ M. (Burmese edition) reads *byākaṃsu*.
