[385] **Extinguished, having seen the Dhamma (diṭṭhadhammābhinibbutā)**: "having seen the Dhamma" means they have seen the dhamma, known the dhamma, weighed the dhamma, judged the dhamma, clarified the dhamma, made the dhamma evident.
**Extinguished (abhinibbutā)**: they are extinguished because lust (rāga) has been extinguished; extinguished because hatred (dosa) has been extinguished; extinguished because delusion (moha) has been extinguished; because anger (kodha), because grudge (upanāha) … extinguished and stilled because all unwholesome volitional formations (akusalābhisaṅkhārā) have been extinguished. Hence, "extinguished, having seen the Dhamma."
