[567] **Developing the supreme path (bhāvento maggamuttamaṃ)**: "The path (magga)" — it is the noble eightfold path that is called the path, namely: right view (sammādiṭṭhi) … right concentration (sammāsamādhi). "Supreme (uttama)": foremost, best, most excellent, pre-eminent, highest, most exalted — thus, "the supreme path." "Developing": developing, pursuing, making much of — thus, "developing the supreme path."
