[62] **What is its great peril?** — What is the great peril of that world — the oppression, the battering, the calamity, the obstruction? Thus, "What is its great peril?" Therefore that brahmin said: By what is the world shrouded? (thus said the venerable Ajita) Why does it not shine forth? Tell me, what is its smearing? What is its great peril?
