Ajitamāṇavakapañhāniddesa

[63] The world is shrouded by ignorance (avijjā), (— "Ajita," said the Blessed One —) because of avarice (and heedlessness) it does not shine forth. Hankering (jappā), I say, is its smearing; suffering (dukkha) is its great peril.
