[641] **"I drifted from island to island (dīpā dīpaṃ upallaviṃ)"**: I drifted, floated along, from teacher to teacher, from one exposition of the Dhamma (dhammakkhāna) to another, from group to group, from view (diṭṭhi) to view, from practice (paṭipadā) to practice, from path (magga) to path — hence, "I drifted from island to island."
