[805] **"Like the wind not caught in a net (vātova jālamhi asajjamāno)":** "Wind" (vāto) — eastern winds, western winds, northern winds, southern winds, dusty winds, cold winds, hot winds, slight winds, strong winds, seasonal winds, verambha winds, winds from birds' wings, winds from supaṇṇas, winds from palm-leaves, winds from fans. "Net" (jālaṃ) means a net of threads. Just as the wind does not stick to a net, is not caught, is not bound, is not held fast, even so there are two nets: the net of craving (taṇhā) and the net of views … This is the net of craving … this is the net of views. For that Paccekasambuddha the net of craving has been abandoned, the net of views has been relinquished. Because the net of craving has been abandoned, because the net of views has been relinquished, that Paccekasambuddha does not stick to form, does not stick to sound … in dhammas seen, heard, sensed, and to be cognized he does not stick, is not caught, is not bound, is not held fast; gone out, released, liberated, detached, he dwells with a mind rid of boundaries.
