[177] How is wisdom in defining nine dhammas knowledge (ñāṇa) of the diversity of dhammas?
How does one define dhammas? One defines dhammas of the sense sphere (kāmāvacara) as wholesome, defines them as unwholesome, defines them as indeterminate (abyākata); one defines dhammas of the form sphere (rūpāvacara) as wholesome, defines them as indeterminate; one defines dhammas of the formless sphere (arūpāvacara) as wholesome, defines them as indeterminate; one defines unincluded dhammas (apariyāpanna) as wholesome, defines them as indeterminate.
