[262] At the moment of the fruition of Arahantship (arahattaphala), for the perfect-knower faculty (aññātāvindriya): the faith faculty (saddhindriya) is its retinue through resolution (adhimokkha); the energy faculty (viriyindriya) is its retinue through exertion; the mindfulness faculty (satindriya) is its retinue through establishment; the concentration faculty (samādhindriya) is its retinue through non-distraction; the wisdom faculty (paññindriya) is its retinue through seeing; the mind faculty (manindriya) is its retinue through cognizing; the joy faculty (somanassindriya) is its retinue through delighting; the life faculty (jīvitindriya) is its retinue through dominance over the continuity of occurrence. The dhammas arisen at the moment of the fruition of Arahantship are all indeterminate (abyākata), except for form originated by mind (citta); all are free from taints (āsava); all are supramundane (lokuttara); all have Nibbāna as their object. At the moment of the fruition of Arahantship, these eight faculties are, for the perfect-knower faculty, its conascent retinue; they are its mutual retinue; they are its retinue by way of support; they are its associated retinue; they are its accompaniments; they are conascent with it; they are conjoined with it; they are associated with it. These very ones are both its modes (ākāra) and its retinue. Thus these eight octads make sixty-four.
