[521] In the case of the excellence of destination (gatisampatti), when [rebirth-consciousness is] dissociated from knowledge (ñāṇa), rebirth (upapatti) occurs through the condition of how many causes? For affluent khattiyas (khattiyamahāsālā), affluent brahmins, affluent householders, and devas of the sense sphere, when [rebirth-consciousness is] dissociated from knowledge, rebirth occurs through the condition of how many causes? In the case of the excellence of destination, when [rebirth-consciousness is] dissociated from knowledge, rebirth occurs through the condition of six causes. For affluent khattiyas, affluent brahmins, affluent householders, and devas of the sense sphere, when [rebirth-consciousness is] dissociated from knowledge, rebirth occurs through the condition of six causes.
