[558] They are factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga) in the sense of root (mūla); factors of awakening in the sense of the conduct of the root; factors of awakening in the sense of comprehending the root; factors of awakening in the sense of the root's retinue; factors of awakening in the sense of the fulfilment of the root; factors of awakening in the sense of the maturing of the root; factors of awakening in the sense of analytic insight (paṭisambhidā) into the root; factors of awakening in the sense of bringing about the attainment of analytic insight into the root; factors of awakening in the sense of developing mastery in analytic insight into the root; and they are factors of awakening also for those who have attained mastery in analytic insight into the root.
