[567] They awaken to the meaning of oppression in suffering (dukkha), thus they are factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga). They awaken to the meaning of being conditioned in suffering, thus they are factors of awakening. They awaken to the meaning of torment in suffering, thus they are factors of awakening. They awaken to the meaning of change in suffering, thus they are factors of awakening. They awaken to the meaning of accumulation, the meaning of source, the meaning of bondage, and the meaning of impediment in the origin (samudaya), thus they are factors of awakening.
