[609] "As far as the meaning of direct knowing pertaining to direct knowledge (abhiññā) extends, it has been known, seen, understood, realized, and contacted with wisdom (paññā); there is no meaning of direct knowing that has not been contacted with wisdom" — thus vision (cakkhu) arose, knowledge (ñāṇa) arose, wisdom arose, true knowledge (vijjā) arose, light (āloka) arose. In the meaning of direct knowing pertaining to direct knowledge there are twenty-five dhammas, twenty-five meanings, fifty expressions (nirutti), one hundred knowledges. As far as the meaning of full understanding pertaining to full understanding (pariññā) extends … As far as the meaning of abandoning pertaining to abandonment (pahāna) extends … As far as the meaning of developing pertaining to development (bhāvanā) extends … . "As far as the meaning of realizing pertaining to realization (sacchikiriyā) extends, it has been known, seen, understood, realized, and contacted with wisdom; there is no meaning of realizing that has not been contacted with wisdom" — thus vision arose, knowledge arose, wisdom arose, true knowledge arose, light arose. In the meaning of realizing pertaining to realization there are twenty-five dhammas, twenty-five meanings, fifty expressions, one hundred knowledges. In the meaning of direct knowing pertaining to direct knowledge, in the meaning of full understanding pertaining to full understanding, in the meaning of abandoning pertaining to abandonment, in the meaning of developing pertaining to development, and in the meaning of realizing pertaining to realization, there are one hundred and twenty-five dhammas, one hundred and twenty-five meanings, two hundred and fifty expressions, five hundred knowledges.
