[168] The Blessed One named Phussa, the receiver of oblations (āhuti), the hero,
walked along the street, cooling (nibbāpento) the great multitude.
In due course the Blessed One came into my presence;
then, taking up the bowl, I gave ghee and oil.
In the ninety-second aeon (kappa) from now, the ghee that I gave then —
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift of ghee.
In the fifty-sixth aeon from now, I was the one named Samodaka,
a wheel-turning monarch (cakkavatti) endowed with the seven treasures, of great might.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (abhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Sappidāyaka the Elder spoke these verses.
