[241] When the Lord of the World Atthadassī, supreme among men, had attained final Nibbāna,
I had a terrace (jagatī) built at the supreme stūpa (thūpa) of the Buddha.
The deed that I did then, eighteen hundred aeons (kappa) [ago] —
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the terrace.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā), have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Elder Jagatikāraka spoke these verses.
