[273] Full of confidence, I gave a single seat with my own hands,
and I presented a pillow, for the attainment of the supreme goal.
In the ninety-first eon (kappa) from this one I gave the pillow;
I know of no bad destination (duggati) — this is the fruit of the pillow.
In the sixty-third eon from this one there was a khattiya named Asama,
a wheel-turning monarch (cakkavatti) of great might, endowed with the seven treasures.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Suvaṇṇabibbohaniya speak these verses.
