[28] "To the Blessed One Siddhattha, the eldest of the world, the steadfast one (tādī),
incense for his hut was given by me with a mind full of confidence.
Into whatever womb (yoni) I am reborn — the state of a deva or that of a human —
I am dear to all: this is the fruit of the gift of incense.
In the ninety-fourth aeon (kappa) from now, since it was then that I gave that incense,
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift of incense.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been done."
It was thus, indeed, that the Venerable Elder Dhūpadāyaka spoke these verses.
