[29] At the supreme foot of the Bodhi tree of the Blessed One Vipassī,
having cleared away the old sand,¹ I strewed clean sand.
The sand that I gave in the ninety-first aeon (kappa) from now —
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift of sand.

In the fifty-third¹ aeon from now I was a king, an overlord of men,²
Mahāpuḷina by name, a wheel-turning monarch (cakkavatti) of great might.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's dispensation (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Puḷinapūjaka the Elder speak these verses.
