[301] Romasa was I named by name, renowned as a dānava (titan);
a cluster of mangoes[2] did I give to Vipassī, the Great Seer (mahesī).
It was ninety-one aeons (kappa) ago from now that I then gave that mango;
I know of no bad destination (duggati): this is the fruit of the gift of a mango.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā), and these eight liberations (vimokkha) as well,
and the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the Venerable Elder Ambapiṇḍiya speak these verses.
