[311] Rising like the hundred-rayed sun,
like the radiant one with golden beams,
gone within the forest, at peace —
the Eldest of the World, the Bull among Men —
I saw him in a dream: Siddhattha,
the Leader of the World.
Having made my mind (citta) serene in him,
I was reborn in a good destination (sugati).
In the ninety-fourth aeon (kappa) from now,
since I then gained that perception (saññā),
I have known no bad destination (duggati):
this is the fruit of the perception of the Buddha.
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā),
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching (sāsana) has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed the Venerable Buddhasaññika the Elder spoke these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Buddhasaññika is concluded.
