[349] Not far from Himavanta
there is the mountain named Romasa;
and at that time the Buddha
named Sobhita dwelt in the open air.
Having come forth from my dwelling,
I held up a lotus;
having held it for a single day,
I passed on to renewed existence (punabbhava).
In the ninety-first aeon (kappa) from now,
since I offered that flower in worship,
I know of no bad destination (duggati):
this is the fruit of worship of the Buddha (buddhapūjā).
The four analytic insights (paṭisambhidā),
and also these eight liberations (vimokkha),
the six superknowledges (chaḷabhiññā) have been realized;
the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled.
Thus indeed did the venerable Elder Padumapūjaka speak these verses.
The Apadāna of the Elder Padumapūjaka is concluded.
